Join us on beautiful Lake George aboard the "Salmon Slammer II". While a lake that is 32 miles long may sound intimidating, rest assured that we know our way around this wonder of nature. Shallow bays for swimming and wading, sharp points for bass fishing, deep waters that hold big lake trout or just cruising along to see some of the historic and picturesque homes along the shore, we're you guide service. You're never far away from something exciting to do here in Lake George.
The Battle of Lake George was fought on September 8, 1755 and later that day when Colonial troops encountered Canadians and Indians, a massacre ensued and many wounded or dead bodies tumbled into the small pond. Thus the name "Bloody Pond" was born.
Following the Battle of Lake George by two years came the famous Battle of Fort William Henry. To learn more, visit the Fort William Henry museum when you come.
